GLYC Women on Water
General Information:
Calling all Women to the Water…
Join us for an afternoon on the water full of comradery and good times!
Friday, July 26th, 2:30 pm– 4 pm
Please join us at the Yacht Club to enjoy friendship, sailing lessons, refreshments, friendly competition, and some relaxation before Regatta Week begins!
2024 WoW will sail in the Flying Scot, M15s, Fevas and the ultra-stable Opti sailboats. We will also need many women spectators on the two comfortable pontoon boats. This year will feature a new motto:
Women on Water, a group of sailors so tight
Sailing and laughing, good times in sight
We set sail last year with winds at peak height
This year we’ll only sail with winds just right
To make sure all boats stay upright!
The GLYC and the GLYC Sailing Foundation are co-hosting this free event, but please register below to also sign the waiver and consider tipping your sailing school instructors.
