GLYC Sailing School
General Information:
Students age 7-17
Hours: 10 am – 4:00 pm at the Grand Lake Yacht Club, Monday-Thursday
No sailing experience is necessary; the program is for all levels
Awards BBQ for families on the last day of each session
Tuition is $400 per week
2025 Sailing School Dates:
Week 1: June 30-July3
Week 2: July 7-10
Week 3: July 14-17
Week 4: July 21-24
Week 5: July 28-31
Registration Information:
To encourage more time on the water for the sailors, this year we are offering early registration for students attending 3 weeks or more.
Early registration: Tuesday, February 4 at 9:00 am MST
For students doing one or two weeks: Tuesday, February 11 at 9:00 am MST
Kindersail:
Available from 8-10 am every morning that Sailing School is in session. Program designed for children between the ages of 3-6 ($30 a day) Kindersail registration will be available online this year and you will need to register prior to the start of class. Class size will be limited to ten students. Advance registration is available starting June 1st.
Scholarships:
Need based scholarships are available for Grand County youth. Please contact Bonnie Sutherland for more information.
