CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES
Together, we have come so far in supporting sailing on Grand Lake. Since the Grand Lake Sailing Foundation (GLSF) began in 2007, your generous donations have helped build an impressive fleet of 41 sailboats (Opti, Pram, Bug, Feva, Melges15, Flying Scot) allowing young sailors to progress from novice crew to racing skippers. Carrying on the legacy, your donations made possible the following programs and purchases in the last two years alone:
Committee Boat: Generously donated to run regattas and sailing school!
E-Scow Western Shootout: 100 Year Anniversary National E-Scow Regatta, support/co-organizing authority
One Melges 15 bridging Sailing School and Regatta Racing for advanced students/instructors
New Sailing Shed Plans are coming along for the new O'Fallon Sailing Shed.
