STOCK DONATION: The Sailing Foundation can also accept gifts of appreciated stock (tax-advantageous because capital gains tax is not applied on the appreciation that would be due upon sale of the stock). Stock donations are made possible with the specific Direct Transfer Certificate (DTC)-Eligible Securities Account information that, for security reasons, can be emailed directly to you on request.
